Replacement Coils
Vape kits and e-cigarettes use specific coils to vaporize e-juice. They typically need to be replaced every two to four weeks depending on usage. The clearest indication of a failing coil is low vapor production, a burnt metallic taste, or excessive e-liquid leaking or spitting.
Vape devices use coils to convert e-juice into vapor. They are wrapped in cotton or embedded in ceramic and encased in a metal head, making them easy to swap out. The coil and wick will gunk up and break down over time, so they need to be changed every two to four weeks depending on use. Low vapor production, leaking or spitting, or a burnt taste are indicators of a failing coil.
Higher resistance coils are used at lower power and produce smaller clouds, and low resistance coils can handle more power and generate more cloud. The resistance rating and recommended wattage range is usually written on the side of the head.
