Big Hit is a line of flavourful hybrid nicotine e-liquids (also known as “Hit Salts”) developed in response to regulated nicotine limitations in Canada that blend freebase nicotine and nic salts to deliver heightened levels of satisfaction with lower nicotine concentrations. Freebase nicotine and nic salts both originate from tobacco, but the two types are very different:
- Freebase nicotine is the original form used in e-liquids, and is often considered the traditional standard. Freebasing to remove the positive charge makes the nicotine easier to absorb without the need of high heat through combustion, and the higher pH levels deliver a throat hit that is satisfying at low levels but becomes harsh at higher concentrations.
- Nicotine salt is the naturally stable state occurring in tobacco. Paired with an acid, a chemical reaction occurs when vaping that makes the nicotine easier to absorb similar to freebasing, but the lower pH levels deliver a far smoother draw which allows for higher concentrations and a bigger punch.
By combining freebase nicotine and nic salts, Big Hit hybrid e-liquids deliver a satisfying throat hit and punched up effects with less nicotine.
